This was lovely! I got actual musical chills at one point towards the end, so kudos for that. Shadowlord really lends itself well to this ensemble instrumental take, since it’s got that classical kind of sound to it. You guys did a great job!
this sounds like a previously normal human man who after taking too much emotional damage starts to become corrupted by a entity's influence (Azathoth)from hp lovecraft and this would be the more saddening prologue before eldritch madness consumes the man and all emotions/thoughts become something similar to Azathoth's own and the man now takes form as a eldritch profound darkness
